Breakfast is a relaxed affair. Full English, Continental and Vegetarian options are of course available, alongside specials such as Kedgeree. Scrambled or Poached Eggs, Kippers, Sardines on toast and porridge are wonderfully healthy options and Pancakes, sweet or savoury, are available on request for those who fancy something a little different. There is always a selection of fruit, such as prunes and grapefruit, apples and bananas alongside yoghurt and cereals. Of course, no breakfast would be complete without tea or coffee and toast and marmalade.
On a more practical note, we have ample parking for all our guests and are close to town, beach and bus routes.

A former coaching Inn, Hillside is situated on the fringe of Ventnor town at the foot of the Downs, facing out to sea.
Our southerly aspect and generous garden make this an ideal location in summer, while the interior design of former years makes this the ideal retreat in winter.
Each of our 12 rooms is different and this is reflected in the individual decor. There is a well stocked bar and bottles of wine are often enjoyed in the garden on mild evenings. The lounge is comfortable and breakfast is served at individual tables in our dining room.
