We invite you to have a short break or main holiday in our hotel where we can guarantee you will be well looked after. We offer you excellent, professional, attentive service, always with a smile!

The St Maur Hotel in Ventnor is situated in one of the prettiest parts of the Island, close to Ventnor park and the famous Botanical Gardens with its many tropical and unusual plants and flowers. Ideal for the many down/and and cliff path walks available in and around Ventnor.

Owned by our family since 1966 we have built a reputation for great food, service and value for money with many of our guests returning two or three times a year. Come and enjoy the experience.

All our bedrooms are ensuite, some have balconies or their own sun terrace. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, radios and Colour TV. We have a mixture of double or twin rooms some with queen size beds. Most rooms have a view overlooking the park and the sea beyond - all overlook gardens to the east, west or south; no north facing rooms!

In the dining room, we serve a hearty full English breakfast to set you up for the day and in the evening we serve a six course evening meal which is changed daily. It is our aim to use local fresh produce whenever we can to sustain the Island's economy. Special diets can be catered for.

We have a very interesting garden where you can walk around and see the various unusual subtropical plants or just relax in a deck chair. The garden enjoys warm sunshine most of the day during fine weather!
